Once upon a time on the beautiful and white Costa del Sol there was a town called Mijas. This beautiful place was so big that it was distributed between the Mijas Pueblo mountain and the sea: La Cala de Mijas, without forgetting its great epicentre: Las Lagunas de Mijas and the other scattered neighbourhoods.
Its citizens before were only Spanish, Andalusian, but over time many, many foreigners came from all over the world. So this small municipality in the province of Malaga, was transformed into a large urban center.
But not all the story is good because in this Kingdom its rulers were people with very little preparation. They were used to riding donkeys and they weren't people of the world, they didn't like training or studying a lot either, so things got worse... The town was being managed worse and worse and the problems added up...
More money came in and it was used worse.
Its desperate citizens used social networks and associations to give voice to all the problems they suffered but nothing at all... The rulers followed their steps with a deaf ear and a blind eye...
Many citizens of Mijas, seeing so much ineptitude, decided not to vote anymore... That is why the people chose their representatives from bad to worse because the political parties that were electing their representatives did it badly and badly and more badly because it no longer existed or existed any chance of finding an alternative (and I'm not referring to the Mijeña).
Things got much worse: the streets were still broken with holes, a lot of dirt and dark streets without light. Crime plagued Mijas... People gassed sleeping, broken and stolen cars and all that was not only the cause of so much urban tragedy but also added the uncertainty to ensure a future for the youngest.
The government of the small Kingdom of Mijas to control the whole town used its own television, its own newspaper and radio and sent people in need to clean the streets and collect what they found on the street... Instead of giving them a future and professional preparation gave them mud, a broom and a dustpan..
It is always known that those who govern always prefer an ignorant people and no wisdom.
Things got worse in the town of Mijas and there were animals abandoned to their fate, elderly people with insufficient homes and without adequate care... In the town they did not have a central hospital either, but only medical support centers where it was never possible to give a full service...never...and late...very late...
This Kingdom, although it could really be the most beautiful in Spain, was simply the worst in organization and management in Spain, so much so that for a period of time it was the least transparent in Spain, said by the same media outlet of the Mijas City Council.
Ladies and Gentlemen, this is a story and as stories are, you are free to draw your conclusions..
If you are tired of being teased, the time has come to say ENOUGH. For something 22,000 registered people do not vote in Mijas.
If you run an association or a rock or if you run your family, it is time to act and say ENOUGH.
